Sheboygan, WI, March 25, 2020 – SynchroKnit™, the technology-driven brand from the sock innovators at Wigwam Mills Inc., announces that the brand is sponsoring the Rambling Runner Virtual Race Series. Race cancellations all over the globe have left runners at a standstill, so SynchroKnit wants to help people continue to move, train and stay connected. By partnering with Rambling Runner, the brand has found a way to do just that.
“All runners know a good run is the best way to burn off stress. During these strange, uncertain times, take care of yourself and get out on your run, if you can, and add a fun element of virtual competition. Running is a natural for social distancing,” says Tom Wheeler, President and CEO Wigwam Mills and a lifelong runner. “From all of us at Wigwam, our hearts go out to all who are impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Please stay healthy!”
The series will include virtual races of 5k, 10k, half-marathon, and marathon distances spread over eight weeks. These virtual races are free and open to everyone. All you need is a Strava account (free) and a device that can track your run (gps watch, phone, etc). Get started now by joining the Rambling Runner Run Club and selecting a race, strava.com/clubs/ramblingrunner, or get more information at theramblingrunner.com.
Race Dates:
- 5k: March 28-29
- 10k: April 4-5
- Half-Marathon: April 18-19
