The Boston Pro Show and Fitness Expo have offered to help displaced vendors and sponsors who were prevented from attending this past weekend’s Arnold Sports Festival Expo in Columbus, OH, due to global coronavirus concerns.
“We just want to help,” said David Whitaker, president of the show promoter Mon Ethos, in a statement.
The Boston Pro Show and Fitness Expo is expected to take place on June 20, 2020, at the Encore Boston Harbor Hotel and Casino.
Mon Ethos Pro has partnered with the Encore to open up space to accommodate the additional vendors and sponsors who have been affected.
The Arnold Sports Festival is an annual multi-sport event and weekend expo that was established in 1989 and is named after Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Boston Pro attracts competitors from around the world to compete for the 24 paid sponsorships, $300,000 in prize money and six guaranteed spots to compete at the Olympia competition in September.
