JCPenney will close six stores by April 24, a company spokesperson confirmed to Business Insider.
The stores are located at Southgate Mall, Missoula, MT; North Hills Shopping Center, Raleigh, NC; Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream, NY; Chapel Hill Mall, Akron, OH; Tulsa Promenade, Tulsa, OK; and Myrtle Beach Mall, Myrtle Beach, SC.
The retailer closed the year with approximately 850 stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
