Timbuk2 Designs Inc. named Perry Klebahn as CEO. Klebahn, who has more than 16 years outdoor industry experience and an extensive background in product design, marketing and engineering, is currently teaching at Stanfords Institute of Designs d.school.

Klebahn was the creator, founder and CEO of Atlas Snowshoes where he designed, manufactured and marketed the first high performance snowshoe. Klebahn then went on to become EVP of Patagonia where he managed the companys direct business as well as the North American wholesale, operations and marketing groups. Most recently, he was appointed to the founding faculty of the Stanford Institute of Designs d.school where he helped create the school as a multidiscipline, collaborative place for Stanford students and faculty in engineering, medicine, business, the humanities, and education to learn design, while thinking and working together to solve big problems in a human centered way. Klebahn will continue to teach classes at the d.school.

Klebahn will officially start as CEO on December 11, 2006 at Timbuk2s headquarters in San Francisco, California.
