Target Corporation's net retail sales for the fiscal month ended October 28, 2006 increased 9.7% to $4.054 billion from $3.694 billion for the four-week period ended October 29, 2005. On this same basis, comparable-store sales increased 3.9% from fiscal October 2005.

“Our October comparable store sales growth was in line with our expectations,” said Bob Ulrich, chairman and chief executive officer of Target Corporation.
