Fortress Watches announces the signing of Sterling Spencer to its U.S. surf team.
“The signing of Sterling is a solid addition to our domestic surf profile and an especially strong presence on the Eastern seaboard. We are stoked and proud to have Sterling on the Fortress team and we see him and Chris Ropero as our East coast anchormen,” said Fortress President and Co-founder, Andy Palmer.
In other surf news, Fortress inked deals to become Official Timing Sponsor of both the Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) and the Interscholastic Surfing Federation (ISF). Fortress sees both organizations as ideal venues to promote the brand and at the same time genuinely support surfing at an important grass roots level.
In addition, Fortress was chosen by Surf Expo as one of ten new up and coming action sports brands in their new Launch program.
