Pro-Tec Athletics welcomed Carlos Serrano as its new director of sales. Serrano joins Pro-Tec with over 13 years of experience in sales, including more than eight years with Merrell in the sporting goods/outdoor industry.
He will be responsible for creating new business strategies, development of new markets, managing existing accounts, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

At Merrell, he managed sales, marketing, product lines and strategic planning. He has generated many consecutive years of consistent, profitable growth with successful leadership of cross-functional teams. Additional skills include territory growth, business acquisition, contract negotiations, and sales and marketing execution.

Serrano is originally from the Seattle area and graduated from the University of Washington. He is passionate about the sporting goods industry, his hobbies include boxing and football, and he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
