The NBA promoted Ski Austin to Executive Vice President, Events and Attractions, from Senior Vice President, Events and Attractions; Rick Buchanan to NBA Executive Vice President and General Counsel, from NBA Senior Vice President and General Counsel; Stu Jackson to Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations, from Senior Vice President, Basketball Operations; Bill Koenig to Executive Vice President, Business Affairs and General Counsel, NBA Entertainment, from Senior Vice President and General Counsel, NBAE; Sal LaRocca to Executive Vice President, Global Merchandising Group, from Senior Vice President, Global Merchandising Group; Harvey Benjamin to NBA Executive Counsel, Business & Finance, from Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, NBAE; Steve Herbst to Senior Vice President, Broadcasting and General Manager, NBA TV, from Vice President, NBA TV and General Manager; and Danny Meiseles to Senior Vice President, Production and Programming, NBA Entertainment, from Vice President, Production Development.
These promotions follow previously announced appointments of Adam Silver to NBA Deputy Commissioner and COO, Joel Litvin to President of League and Basketball Operations, and Heidi Ueberroth to President of Global Marketing Partnerships and International Business Operations. All new positions are effective July 1, 2006.

Austin, Herbst, LaRocca and Meiseles will report to Silver. Benjamin, Buchanan and Jackson will report to Litvin. Koenig will report to both Silver and Litvin.
