Portland, Oregon-based Columbia Sportswear has an 80-year legacy of unlocking the outdoors for everyone. To celebrate America’s national parks, Columbia is proud to announce a new campaign to support the National Park Foundation’s Open OutDoors for Kids (OOK) initiative with the sale of limited-edition National Parks T-Shirts. The National Park Collection includes nine limited-edition designs with images of National Parks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite and more.
Columbia is proud to donate $1 to the National Park Foundation for the Open OutDoors for Kids initiative for each national parks tee sold from June 15 to Sept. 30, 2019.
The limited-edition collection is available at U.S. Columbia-branded stores, U.S. Outlet stores and Columbia.com.
Columbia will donate a minimum of $75,000 to the National Park Foundation as part of this effort. Columbia has invested more than $1 million to protect and preserve U.S. public lands since 2013.

- The National Park Foundation’s Open OutDoors for Kids program puts nature at the fingertips of today’s youth, helping them trade “screen time” for “green time.” Open OutDoors for Kids connects young people to national parks through meaningful, educational and engaging activities, and encourages kids to build lifelong connections to these special places.
- The program helps to facilitate field trips to national parks, with a special focus on underserved communities.
- Just $10 can fund a field trip for a kid to experience one of America’s largest outdoor classrooms: the National Parks.
- So far, OOK has funded National Park experiences for over 500,000 kids across the country. Looking ahead, the National Park Foundation has set a goal to bring over 200,000 kids to National Parks and public lands each year.
