eBags.com won “Website of the Year” at the 2006 Multichannel Merchant Awards. The awards were announced at a special luncheon on May 10 at the Annual Conference for Catalog & Multichannel Merchants (ACCM) in Chicago. The company also received the Gold Award in Consumer Specialty Products – Web Channel.
The Multichannel Merchant Awards honor outstanding companies in catalog and multichannel retailing. E-tailers and online stores were judged on overall design, marketing of the site and sales results.

eBags.com also received the Community Service Award from the Travel Goods Association for fundraising work on behalf of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation through its Pick Pink at eBags program. TGA's Community Service Award recognizes an individual or company that has distinguished itself by making a positive social contribution.
