John DeVivo of Bethel, ME will be assuming the role of VP of Mountain Operations for Attitash resort. DeVivo, no stranger to the ski industry, has worked in many facets of Mountain Operations in his 20 years at Sunday River in Bethel, ME, a sister company to Attitash.

The Mountain Operations responsibilities include overseeing all lift operations, snowmaking, building operations, maintenance and grounds, events and interacts with virtually all departments within the organization. DeVivo’s work over his 20 years in the industry spans from working in rental/retail to various management roles in sponsorship & merchandising, Industry Relations and eight years in events & competitions and eight years as Director of Mountain Operations at Sunday River.

“I am excited about the opportunity to take the next step and to come to Attitash and make a difference. I look forward to coming on board, interacting with a well-established staff and bringing a lot of energy to the process,” said DeVivo.
