Yelich Designs California Inspired Louisville Slugger

We all know the hot start Christian Yelich is off to at the plate. What you didn’t know is that Christian is also off to a hot start as a bat designer. In collaboration with Louisville Slugger, Christian has worked to create a special version of his Pro Prime S318 model bat. The bat is heavily influenced by Christian’s youth growing up in Southern California on Zuma Beach designed to look like ocean waves, and a knob medallion featuring the lifeguard tower from Zuma Beach, CA.

This is the second Pro Prime series bat in the market. The series is inspired by collaborations with MLB® players and Louisville Slugger. Each player involved in the Pro Prime series will debut two models: their game model bats and a unique player-inspired model.
