Nester Hosiery, a leading US manufacturer of performance merino wool socks, hired Matt Brucker as vice president of sales, effective immediately.
The appointment comes as the company has experienced a large increase in the number of world-leading brand partners it serves.
“Matt is going to be instrumental as we continue to add more brand partners and grow our business,” said Kerry Nester, Nester Hosiery EVP of sales. “He will ensure we continue to provide them all with the highest levels of service.”
Brucker has a strong background in the outdoor and fitness markets. He spent 5 years as a footwear retail merchandising manager at REI before moving on to national sales manager and later Director roles at Implus in its outdoor and sporting goods and fitness divisions respectively. In 2017 Brucker founded Sapphire Solutions which helps brands navigate and balance business development between digital and traditional retail channels.

Brucker will be reporting to Nester and relocating to the Surry County area with his family.
