Red Resort has hired resort-industry veteran Erik Kalacis as vice president of sales and marketing. As part of Reds executive management team, Kalacis is responsible for leading real estate and resort marketing and sales initiatives.
“I have visited mountain resorts around the world, and Red Resort, along with the community of Rossland, has a unique appeal thats second to none,” stated Kalacis, who most recently served as director of sales and partnerships at Grouse Mountain Resorts in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
“The mountain has amazing terrain and annual snowfall, plus Red offers year-round adventure and recreation options for everyone. This is truly a hidden jewel that must be experienced to be believed. I look forward to working with the community in attracting more visitors to this special resort destination,” added Kalacis.
Red Resort President and CEO Howard Katkov commented, “Erik is the perfect fit for Red at this critical time in our development. He has all the necessary skills and expertise in order to take us to that next level of awareness locally and around the region. Were thrilled to have him on our team,” he said.
