Sierra Designs has announced the successful resolution of a challenge in German court to their intellectual property, regarding its zipperless sleeping bag, the Backcountry Bed.
“We’re pleased with the confirmation that this award-winning product is truly the original, and excited to announce that the most comfortable sleeping bag on the market is one uniquely available from Sierra Designs,” said George Bryant, the brand’s vice president and general manager.
Designed to work more like a bed and less like a sleeping bag, the Backcountry Bed features a unique zipperless construction with access provided through a large opening in the top. An oversized, integrated comforter seals this opening, allowing a person to sleep on their back, side or stomach.
