EMU Australia added action sports industry sales rep veteran David Poletti as the companys new sales rep for the Rockies region.
“David is a welcome addition to EMU and brings a great amount of experience and know-how to the table,” explains Greg Licht, president of EMU Australia. “His strong relationships with retailers and expertise in significantly increasing sales for the brands he has worked with make him a key asset for our continued growth in the domestic arena.”
David has almost twenty years of experience in the action sports realm, and has focused on building such brands as Freestyle Watches, CHISCO, and Anarchy/Angel Eyewear. He began his career at Freestyle Watches in 1987 and worked as the director of sales for the brand until he moved from Ventura, California to Colorado in 1996 to start his own agency. Under his agency umbrella, he continued to build the Freestyle Watches brand and brought in the CHISCO and Anarchy/Angel Eyewear brands, as well. His accolades include dramatically increasing both specialty and major channel business, including a $1.25 million dollar increase in sales for Freestyle Watches in just under a decade, and over $800K in sales in both channels for CHISCO in just two years.
A resident of Lone Tree, Colorado, David enjoys the Rocky Mountain lifestyle his wife Jan and their four children.
