Incipio Group has sold Braven Audio, the maker of waterproof Bluetooth speakers, to Zagg Inc.

Zagg’s product portfolio includes screen protection, power management solutions, mobile keyboards, social tech and personal audio sold under the InvisibleShield, Mophie, Zagg and Ifrogz brands.

As part of the transaction, Zagg will acquire all intellectual property rights and product development capabilities including engineering and product design teams, further demonstrating Zagg’s commitment to product innovation and brand preference.

Incipio’s owned brands include Incase, ClamCase, Tavik, Griffin and Incipio. It also has a number of license agreements with Burton, Under Armour, 5.11 and others.

Durham Jones & Pinegar acted as legal counsel to Zagg in the transaction. D.A. Davidson acted as financial advisor and Latham & Watkins LLP acted as legal counsel to Incipio in the transaction.
