L.L.Bean plans to open the company’s second Wisconsin store May 11 with giveaways and an outdoor party.
The grand opening celebration for the 15,300-square-foot store will begin on Friday, May 11 and go through Sunday, May 13.
“Wisconsin is as passionate about the outdoors as we are in Maine,” said Greg Elder, vice president of stores at L.L.Bean. “We’re excited to bring that outdoor spirit to Hilldale, and get to know the Madison community.”
This will be L.L.Bean’s second retail store in Wisconsin, and its 37th retail store outside of Maine. L.L.Bean opened its Brookfield retail store last summer. The new store will employ approximately 30 people.
