Implus expanded the company’s independent retail sales team with the addition of seven new territory managers to better support specialty retailers for Balega, FuelBelt, Yaktrax, DryGuy, TriggerPoint, Perfect, FootZen, Sof Sole, Spenco, Harbinger, Perfect and Sneaker Balls. The new hires bring the total number of Implus territory managers to 19 with two additional independent reps.
These territory managers join Implus with extensive sales experience and widespread familiarity in the Run and Outdoor Specialty market, as well as in independent specialty retail.
Implus is thrilled to welcome the following new territory managers to the Independent Retail team:
- Nick Valencia – Nashville, TN
- Josh Myers – Jacksonville, FL
- Aaron Tucker – St. Louis, MO
- Sara Harris – Los Angeles, CA
- Robert Terry – Washington D.C.
- Nicole Wood – Philadelphia, PA
- Tyler Morey – Minneapolis, MN
“Our new territory managers join an existing team of talented reps who do a tremendous job of servicing our independent specialty channel. We are building our sales team to spend more time in stores and at events to help our retail partners prosper,” said Bert Pictor, executive vice president and general manager of Independent Retail at Implus.
As of March, Implus has realigned its territories and expanded its sales team to better serve its brick-and-mortar specialty retailers. As many brands in the specialty space are scaling down their sales and tech rep teams, Implus is adding sales resources to support its retail partners.
“Independent Retailers need a one-stop shop for all of their accessory needs. We aim to be that resource by enabling them to order all Implus brands on a single order and receive what they have ordered in a single shipment. We are trying to make life easier for our retail partners, allowing them to focus on servicing the end consumer,” Pictor noted.
