According to Fanatics, sales of Team USA hockey merchandise spiked over 500 percent through last Friday since the U.S. Women’s Hockey team’s victory over Canada.

More Team USA hockey gear was sold on Thursday than the previous seven days combined. The game was played on Wednesday night. Canada was the four-time defending Olympic champion.

Fanatics also launched a number of items to celebrate the victory.

“The amazing gold medal win by the U.S. Women’s Hockey Team rallied the entire nation, and we’ve seen fans respond quickly with very strong demand for Team USA hockey merchandise since the victory,” said Jack Boyle, Fanatics co-president, direct-to-consumer business. “We were well prepared for this surge with new gold medal products and a large Team USA hockey assortment, but as strong as hockey merchandise has been selling throughout the games, what we’ve seen the past 24 hours is better than any one-day spike throughout these Pyeongchang Games.”
