The Category Manager represents the Central Nervous System at K-Swiss. This position works with all departments and is the primary interface between Product Design, Development and Sales.
Specific responsibilities are as follows:
- Direct and manage global product strategy including pricing, segmentation, SMUs and launch dates.
- Lead the footwear design process by coordinating and managing Team Design Review Meetings and Market Research Trips.
- Conduct pre-line focus groups with consumers and buyers.
- Provide quarterly sales presentations to major accounts.
- Present product line at all sales meetings.
- Recommend monthly and quarterly product buys.
- Oversee inventory levels at major accounts.
- Establish go-in margins on a style-by-style basis.
