Todd Latta has resigned from his position as GM of Ritchey Asia. Todd held this position since the inception of the Taiwan Branch. Todd informed Ritchey management of his intention to pursue other interests in late February but agreed to stay on for two additional months to achieve an orderly turnover; his resignation is effective April 14th. Tom Ritchey praised Todd for his energy and the leadership he provided the Ritchey Taiwan office. John Frechette, COO and Phil Ellinwood, CFO joined Tom in extending their sincere “thanks and best wishes” to Todd in his future endeavors.

Claudio Bianchi will spend the month of April in Taichung assisting Todd in winding up his activities and receive the formal turnover of duties from Todd. Claudio is very familiar with Ritchey’s Asian business and operations as Ritchey International is one of the principle beneficiaries of the Taiwan branch operation. Claudio is well suited to work closely with Todd to orchestrate a smooth transition of management duties to minimize disruption to our staff, Taiwan business partners and OE factories during this period.

Tom Ritchey, owner, and John Frechette, COO of Ritchey Design, Inc., the parent company of Ritchey Asia, have appointed David Enjolras as the new GM of Ritchey Asia. This appointment will commence April 30th following the management transition period conducted by Claudio Bianchi. David is no stranger to Ritchey or Taichung as he has served as GM of The Box Solution’s operation in Taichung for the past three and a half years, a position he will retain. David has a very good understanding of our business and will provide continuity of management for our Taiwan business.

Ritchey Asia has recently moved to new office facilities in Taichung. Ritchey Asia left its previous office, located in its warehousing complex and move to a new office location the 2nd week of March.

With this move Ritchey Asia will concentrate on its core business functions: Product Development, OE Sales and Customer Service, Export Sales, Finance and Administration. John Frechette commented that Ritchey has a very competent staff in Taichung and this move is intended to allow them to direct their energies on the key elements of our business in Taiwan.

In a statement the company said, “Please join us as we thank Todd Latta for his efforts over the past years on behalf of Ritchey and extend our sincere best wishes to him; also, in thanking Claudio Bianchi for managing the turnover of duties; and finally, to extend a warm welcome and our hearty congratulations to David Enjolras as he accepts his new position as GM of Ritchey Asia.”
