Reebok has collaborated with Garneau, a leader in cycling design and products, to create a shoe designed specifically for indoor cycling.
The Actifly shoe incorporates the latest Garneau technology and features a moisture-wicking microfiber and perforated upper to prevent moisture buildup and maximize heat dissipation. Its synthetic leather and mesh with anti-bacterial and anti-odor treatments also dry quickly. On the outside, the Actifly sports a hybrid nylon-fiberglass outsole to make it stiff, durable and well-ventilated.
“We are proud to be part of this great collaboration where fitness and cycling come together,” said Eric Sakalowsky, Garneau’s global marketing director. “Indoor cycling comes with unique demands. With Reebok, we present a product that is unique and adapted to the real needs of this athlete.”
Actifly will be available through boutique spin studios, specialty retailers, online retailers and bicycle retailers this month, as well as online at reebok.com and garneau.com
“We believe there is a need in the market for a shoe designed specifically for indoor cycling,” said Kelli McKenna, head of Reebok licensing. “Partnering with a leader in the cycling space like Louis Garneau allowed us to create a lightweight and breathable shoe that combines features important to cyclists but also performance attributes expected by Reebok’s fitness consumer.”
