Seth Berger, CEO of basketball footwear and apparel company AND 1, announced three promotions at the company headquarters. Justin Cupps has been appointed Vice President of Sales, Mark Lange has been named Global Retail Marketing Manager and John Pierce is now the National Sales Manager.
In his almost eight years with AND 1, Cupps was formerly a regional and national sales manager for the brand before spending the previous two years as the General Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. He will now oversee the management of all domestic sales for the company, replacing Keith Daly, now the CEO for Lady Foot Locker. Pierce has been promoted from managing strategic accounts to now overseeing all family and department store channels, as well as all independent sales rep business for the brand. Before joining AND 1 in 2001, Pierce was an assistant footwear buyer for JC Penney.
Lange moves from the sales side of the business to managing all marketing initiatives with retail partners and international distributors. Previously he was in the AND 1 sales department since 1998, most recently serving as the account manager for all Footlocker Inc. business since 2002.
