It was like winning an Academy Award for your first movie the first night of Winter Market as REI gave the nod to Keen Footwear as Vendor Partner of the Year for 2004, the brand’s first full year working with the retailer. Cascade Designs picked up the Camping/Travel award, Pearl Izumi snagged the Action Sports division honors, and Prana picked up the award for best in Outdoorwear. Prana was the top overall winner in 2003.
The annual awards program recognizes three key vendors and one overall Vendor Partner of the Year for efforts that have built a strategic and successful relationship with REI.
Other nominees included Chariot, Columbia, ExOfficio, Gregory, Marin, Petzl, Salomon, Sierra Designs, The North Face, and Watermark.
