The Buckle, Inc. saw net sales decrease 7.8 percent to $195.7 million for the 13-week fiscal second quarter ended July 29, 2017 from net sales of $212.2 million for the prior-year period. Comparable store net sales for the 13-week period decreased 7.7 percent. Online sales decreased 4.5 percent to $19.5 million in fiscal Q2, compared to net sales of $20.4 million for the 13-week period ended July 30, 2016.
Net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2017 was $11.5 million, or 24 cents per diluted share, compared with $15.5 million, or 32 cents per diluted share for the second quarter of fiscal 2016.
