Jarden Corporation announced that Gary A. Kiedaisch has been named President of The Coleman Company, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jarden Corporation, and a leader in the outdoor products market. He will be based at Coleman’s Wichita, Kansas headquarters.
As announced earlier, Jarden Corporation completed its acquisition of American Household, Inc., the parent company of The Coleman Company, Inc. Now in its second century of operation, Coleman manufactures and distributes products for camping, backpacking, tailgating, backyard grilling and other outdoor leisure-time activities. Targeting the outdoor products market, Coleman is a market leader in each of its core categories, including camping lanterns, coolers, and camping stoves.
Mr. Kiedaisch, 58, brings a 25-year track record of developing and growing complex international consumer products companies specializing in sports and outdoor recreation. Most recently, Mr. Kiedaisch was the Chairman, CEO and President for Nike’s subsidiary, Bauer Nike Hockey, Inc. Prior to his tenure with Nike, he served as President and CEO of Bolle Inc., a publicly owned premium sports eyewear brand and also served as President and CEO of Stowe Mountain Resort, a division of American International Group.
