VF Corporation has announced organizational changes designed to leverage its supply chain capabilities and support its long-term growth plans. The Company recently announced that it has efforts underway that are expected to yield $100 million in savings over the next five years that will be used to fuel future growth.
To execute a VF distribution network strategy across its North American businesses, the Company announced the appointment of Tim Dye as Vice President of Distribution for North America, a new position. Dye, 48, brings 25 years of experience to this role, with previous assignments at Lee Jeans, VF Jeanswear and most recently as VP Supply Chain for VF’s Imagewear coalition.
The Company also announced that John Strasburger has been named Vice President of Americas Sourcing, another new position. Strasburger, 48, will be responsible for creating a consolidated sourcing capability for all domestic coalitions to leverage their sourcing needs in the Americas. Strasburger began his career as Director of Industrial Engineering at the Company’s Bassett-Walker division; his work with VF includes positions in technical services, manufacturing and sourcing. Most recently, he served as VP of Purchasing and Sourcing (Americas) for VF’s Imagewear coalition.
