Smith Optics announced two new additions to its Interchangeable Series, the Threshold Slider and the smaller Catalyst Slider, which will both be available in-stores this March.
Both are built as updates and replacements to existing models, the Mainline and the Voodoo. The Threshold and Catalyst will continue in the Slider tradition, offering three lenses in all models and a fourth clear lens with the polarized package. An upgraded high-contrast RC30 lens tint now includes a flash mirror coating for increased sport styling and glare reduction.
The Threshold Slider is for large- to medium-fit faces, providing ample lens coverage and adjustable wire core temples for customized fit. The Catalyst Slider is a medium- to smaller-fitting piece. Both frames are built from TR90, which enhances comfort and durability, and the impact-resistant Carbonic lenses offer superior vision in all conditions. All lenses also have Smiths TLT Distortion-Free Optics, and provide 100% UVA/B/C and blue light protection. Suggested prices range from $99 to $129.
