Tecnica is expanding its Fur offerings for Winter 2005, including the introduction of a men’s fur boot collection.
In its “Style” category, Tecnica mixes traditional fur materials with boiled wool for a series of boots called the Kjetil, $279 MSRP, Haakon, $249 MSRP, and the Joik, $239 MSRP. Each model is constructed with bovine fur and boiled wool in the upper with a waterproof leather rand for protection against the elements. In the new men’s category, Tecnica is offering a sleek, bovine fur style called the Anchoage, $299 MSRP, to complement a more traditional goat fur model called the Kailas, $349 MSRP.
Tecnica is also updating a few key styles from its successful 2004/05 collection, adding color updates to in-demand styles such as the Shan, MSRP $399, Yaghi, $379 MSRP, and Skandia, $299 MSRP.
For Winter 2005, Tecnica mixes materials and trends to expand the Moon Boot phenom. The Moon Boot Alps (MSRP $169) features classic ski area patches. The Moon Boot Spark uses space-age metallic yarn in the nylon upper for a cosmic sheen (MSRP $159). The Moon Boot® Fluor (MSRP $139) is offered in Neon Pink, Lime, and Orange for a 1980’s flashback.
