The Canadian cycling apparel brand 7Mesh announced that it hired Summit Outdoor & Sports to represent the brand in the Benelux region (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg), and that AKA Sports Group will cover the Ontario territory.
“We’re very happy to have found Richard Cremers from Summit Outdoor, a passionate cyclist and experienced apparel representative with a strong track record in the Dutch, Belgium and Luxembourg markets,” said John Zopfi, 7Mesh GM of the EMEA. “With Richard on board, 7Mesh will continue to support individual bike dealers and explore new partnerships within the crossover of outdoor and bike.”
Andrew Sherry, VP of sales, added: “‘It’s also great to be working with Andrew and Rob from AKA; together, we’re committed to providing top-notch knowledge and service to our customers.”
Approaching its 10th Anniversary, the new representation and the recent expansion of the company’s sales leadership team will reportedly “position 7Mesh for further success in its second decade of pushing limits in design, construction and sustainability.”
7Mesh recently hired Sherry as VP of sales. Before this, he worked as an independent sales agent for the company, leading the development of its Western Canadian dealer network. Most recently, he was a senior merchant for cycling at Mountain Equipment Company (MEC).
