3Step Sports, the youth sports club and event operator, acquired Patriot Lacrosse Club, adding the youth training and development organization to its lacrosse division.

Patriot Lacrosse was founded in 1998 by Chuck and Donna Ruebling with instructional camps and clinics focused on creating an individualized experience for player development on and off the field. In 2001, Patriot Lacrosse Club formed six teams growing to 14 teams.

3Step’s reach “spans 43 states and serves more than 3.2 million athletes across nine sports, events, club programs and media content,” said the company.

“Chuck Ruebling is one of the most iconic coaches in the country, and Patriot Lacrosse embodies excellence,” said David Geaslen, 3Step’s founder. “Their personalized approach to every player and commitment to doing things the right way is something we admire and strive to emulate. We are very excited to welcome them into our family.”
