301Sportsonline.com said it merged with GetTeamGear.com to form a newly
named company, 301Sports.com. The new online sporting goods retailer
headquartered in Washington, Utah, focuses on baseball and softball
equipment.
“Both companies had been serving the same customer base but with
different product lines,” said Kyle Hendren, director of marketing for
301Sports.com. “With this merger of equals, the customer is the
ultimate winner. The combined company offers a greater selection of
products from the top equipment manufacturers in softball and baseball
that the individual companies could not attain on their own.”
The new company will maintain GetTeamGear.com’s e-commerce software
engine powered by Volusion. 301SportsOnline.com brings new services to
the combined company with custom logo and team jersey designs along
with screen printing, dry fit sublimation and embroidery. Collectively
the companies bring together more than 15 apparel and equipment
manufacturers for the avid softball and baseball player.
“0As we began to look at the possibility of joining forces, each
company stepped forward with its strengths,” said Chantry Abbott,
co-owner of 301Sports.com. “Together, we can offer more products and
services more efficiently and securely online and at many USSSA
tournaments that we sponsor, host and attend.”
301Sports.com will be at the ASA Native American World Tournament in
Mesquite, Nev. September 25-27 as an authorized vendor for the
tournament. In addition, the JO/301Sports.com team is participating in
