Running USA said it has canceled its 2021 Industry Conference scheduled for February 2021 in New Orleans. All registered attendees have received communications with their follow-on options prepared.
Running USA’s statement read, ‘This choice was not made lightly, but the health and safety of attendees and federal and state recommendations for gathering in large groups were considered first and foremost.
‘For the last 17 years, Running USA Industry Conference has been considered the running world’s favorite gathering for networking, education and camaraderie each year. We know it will be so again in 2022. We also know we cannot duplicate that amazing February experience online.
“So how will we continue to bring you great educational content next year? Running USA will develop a six-month-long, online Educational Series that will begin in January 2021. This series will be aimed at professional and business development for both organizations and individuals.
“We know that our members are seeking education resources that can help them survive the next few months and into the future. The intent of this series is to provide content that will help. Stay tuned for more information on how to register for this series, coming soon.”
