The 2008 Sportfishing Summit will be held in Denver, Colo., at the Brown Palace Hotel. The group rate per night is $155. The deadline for reserving rooms at the hotel is Oct. 7.
Registration for the Summit is due Oct. 10. The association will waive the registration fee this year for members as a thank you for volunteering their time in support of the association. Spouses and guests are always welcome to attend the Summit. Because its a working meeting, the fee for spouses and guests will only be $99.
Considering the circumstances of moving the Summit, the ASA Board of Directors decided to scale back annual meeting for this year and focus on the committee and Board meetings.
