Zeal Optics, along with 100+ other Utah based businesses, were honored with an award as one of Utahs “fastest growing companies” designation by the 2003 Utah 100 Program. The awards ceremonies were held at a luncheon that filled the entire banquet room of the Grand America Hotel. Approximately 4000+, very enthusiastic Utah business owners, managers and personnel attended the event. The past two years economically have been very challenging for all US businesses and it was very exciting to focus on the success stories in Utah business.
The Utah 100 was first launched by the MountainWest Venture Group in 1995 as Utah's only business growth recognition program. This premier award identifies and recognizes Utah's 100 fastest growing companies and top 15 revenue growth companies annually. The 100 fastest growing companies in Utah are selected from over thousands of applicants solicited from throughout the state. In addition to the 100 fastest growing companies, 15 businesses are recognized for their actual revenue growth measured in dollars.
