Zay Products out of Colorado has hired industry veteran Steve Kvinlaug as director of sales and marketing as it plans to introduce a brand new concept in alpine ski boots. He was formerly VP at Alpina Sports Corp.
The new boot will be produced in the United States and be targeted at the performance oriented and all-mountain skiers.
Zay President, Rex Deitesfeld said “I am very pleased to have Steve join our company with his vast experience in all levels of ski equipment sales. We are very excited he will help us launch this project.”
Kvinlaug will bring together a professional staff to help Zay gain nationwide exposure. The unique ski boot concept will feature notable performance advantages that will drastically improve the overall skiing experience.
Kvinlaug said “I have not seen anything close to this in years and I am very excited to represent such a revolutionary new ski boot concept that will truly help skiers improve at every level of skiing.”
The target is to be ready for the 2013-14 skiing season.
