Yeti Coolers has joined Grassroots Outdoor Alliance (Grassroots) as a vendor partner.


Yeti Coolers has become a leader in the fast-growing premium cooler category and a highly respected brand among serious outdoor enthusiasts. The Austin, Texas company offers a complete and growing line of coolers, accessories, and branded gear items that appeal to a wide range of consumers.

 
Yeti Coolers has been working for some time with the Grassroots organization to develop a partnership.

Yeti Coolers were a real success story this fall at Great Outdoor Provision Co, which operates seven stores in North Carolina. 

 

“At first we were scared of the margin which is thin relative to everything else we do,” said Scott Wood, buyer for the category at Great Outdoor Provision. “However, stock turns have been very high and more than made up for the thin margin.  Beyond that Yeti really has added luster to our stores.  Customers are excited to see the coolers in our stores.  This is a product that’s a new category for us so we are seeing new sales that don’t cannibalize exiting product.  Our rep, Tim Roach, has been great to work with in terms of providing available to sell data at a moment’s notice, processing orders quickly and educating staff. “

 

Grassroots Outdoor Alliance has 47 members with nearly 100 retail locations across the United States.
