Yakima announced a new partnership with Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching people how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

As an official Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainer partner, Yakima is outfitting five Subarus with Yakima products, including rack systems with RailGrab Towers and crossbars, SkyBox and RocketBox Pro cargo boxes, the new HoldUp hitch bike carrier and BigStack kayak mounts.

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers conduct hands-on educational workshops and training across the country. Targeting youth serving organizations, college students, outdoor guides, land management staff and the general public, the traveling trainer teams offer everything from hour-long workshops to two-day, field-based trainer courses.

At Yakima, we are passionate about the outdoors and preserving it for generations to come, said Kara Leever, US Marketing Manager at Yakima. We are honored to partner with Leave No Trace, which is doing such important and effective work in educating all those who enjoy the outdoors to do so with minimal impact. We want everyone to take more friends outdoors in a way that is good for nature.

Yakima is synonymous with outdoor adventures, so they are the perfect partner for us, said Dana Watts, Executive Director of Leave No Trace. We are very grateful to them for their support and cant wait to head out with our fully Yakima-loaded Subarus.
The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics teaches people of all ages how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, and is the most widely accepted outdoor ethics program used on public lands. Through targeted education, research and outreach, the Center ensures the long-term health of the natural world.
