Xterra hired Doug Hall to the newly created position as general manager of the EMEA region, to focus on brand expansion, quality control and business operations.
An elite off-road triathlete from the UK, Hall has managed performance training centers for British Triathlon, was the head of Xterra’s certified coaching program, founded triathlon coaching businesses, and managed sales accounts for UK-based Supernutrients.
“The EMEA region is a hotbed for Xterra right now. We pioneered the made-for-TV Short Track and Xterra long-distance racing formats. We’re hosting 25-plus traditional Xterra off-road triathlons, including the World Championship in Italy, and we are in the groundbreaking stages of producing an intriguing set of new Xterra Trail Run World Series race offerings,” said Hall, who has been part of Xterra as an athlete and administrator for more than a decade.
