Wolverine has inked an agreement with Paramount Apparel International, Inc. to develop and market Wolverine brand headwear for men.

Retail prices will reflect the Wolverine philosophy of bringing high quality, durable comfort and style to consumers at reasonable price levels.

Kevin Smith, vice president of Wolverine Brand Licensing at Wolverine World Wide, Inc., said that the search for a strong licensing partner had been intensive and that Paramount Apparel International displayed an impressive level of expertise and experience with its history of more than 70 years in the headwear industry. Said Smith, “Paramount is an energetic, talented and dedicated company. These are the qualities we need to build a long-term business in headwear.”

Wolverine headwear will be available at select retailers nation-wide beginning fall 2005.
