Wish Atlanta, a luxury sneaker and streetwear boutique in the Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta, plans to close at end of the year after 22 years in operation.

In a note on Wish Atlanta’s website and on social media, Lauren Amos, the founder of Wish Atlanta, didn’t indicate why the store was closing. The store is at 447 Moreland Ave NE.

Wish Atlanta on its website notes the store is “recognized as one of the few women-owned sneaker and streetwear boutiques across the globe.”

For more than two decades,  Wish has been more than a store. It has been a place where fashion, art, and culture intersect. A place where people gathered, discovered new designers and forms of expression, and above all found community and inspiration.

Artists transformed our walls into galleries. Designers trusted us with their vision. Every customer filled our space with new energy and ideas. Together, we built a community that proved retail could be about more than products.

As with all great journeys, at some point they come to an end. We want to share with our customers and supporters that Wish will close its doors on December 28, 2026.

We are so thankful to Atlanta for allowing us to be a part of its creative community, and these coming months will be dedicated to honoring the people, partnerships, and moments that shaped Wish’s legacy.

Over the past 22 years, we have been incredibly fortunate to contribute to Atlanta’s creative spirit and sought to shine a light on emerging talent while welcoming some of the world’s most influential brands to our city. We watched Atlanta grow into a creative capital, and we are deeply grateful that Wish had the opportunity to grow alongside it.

I’ve always believed that creativity has the power to bring people together. That belief has guided every decision we’ve made, from the brands and products we introduced, to the artists and communities we championed.

To every customer who walked through our doors in Little Five Points, every artist who trusted us, and everyone who dreamed alongside us – thank you. You are the legacy of Wish.
