Wiley X, the maker of protective eyewear, has promoted Johnathan Weikum from director of sales to vice president of Sales.
Weikum is responsible for leading Wiley X company sales across all channels, overseeing strategic growth initiatives, channel development, and key retail and industry partnerships. In this role, he will work closely with the executive leadership team to align sales execution with the company’s long-term brand and revenue strategy.
Weikum brings extensive experience in the eyewear and optical industries, driving growth through strategic partnerships and channel expansion. Most recently, he served as director of Sales for Wiley X’s Optical Division, strengthening the brand’s presence in the optical market and expanding key account relationships.
Prior to joining Wiley X, Weikum held senior sales leadership roles at Oakley and Costa Del Mar, where he was “instrumental in launching and scaling specialty retail programs, Rx initiatives and national sales strategies.”

As Vice President of Sales, Weikum will focus on driving sustainable growth across DTC, optical, outdoor, occupational protection, government, and mass merchants, while building scalable systems and developing sales teams.
