This past July, The Walnut Group of Cincinnati, OH and Consumer Growth Partners of Kansas City, MO purchased a controlling share of technical outerwear manufacturer Wild Things.


Founder Marie Meunier will remain on the company’s Board of Directors and will continue to serve as a lead designer under newly appointed CEO Andrew Glashow. “We are poised and ready to build on the legacy Marie has given us,” said Glashow. “I am thrilled to be surrounded by such great people in an industry with such great opportunity…”


The company will continue to design and manufacture gear for climbers and adventurers from its design base in North Conway, NH. Wild Things has also opened a new office in Newport, RI which is the company’s new corporate headquarters. The company has planned the launch of a new and updated product line and brand for this year as well as a new more user-friendly website and enhanced product ordering system.
