WHAM-O, Inc. has acquired the inflatable tube activities from Washington-based Rocky Mountain, Inc., making WHAM-O the exclusive licensee for SEA-DOO(a) and SKI-DOO(a) inflatable water and snow tubes, towables, islands and pool products.

WHAM-O also announced that Rocky Mountain's president, David
Clark, will be named vice president of business development for these
new brand licenses acquired by WHAM-O.

This acquisition marks the company's third action sports related
acquisition in the past year and a half, vastly expanding WHAM-O's
recreational product offerings and market position by broadening
WHAM-O's impressive category of leading branded recreational products.
These are sold under the MOREY(R) Boogie(R) Boards, and BZ(R) PRO
BOARDS Bodyboards, CHURCHILL(R) Swimfins, SNOWBOOGIE(R) and SLEDZ snow
sleds and Riva Sports(R) snowboard brands.

As the exclusive licensee for SEA-DOO(a) and SKI-DOO(a) inflatable
water and snow tubes, towables, islands and pool products, WHAM-O will
offer its customers the most innovative water and snow recreational
products available globally in mass, membership club, sporting goods
and specialty retail channels.

“Rocky Mountain has developed an impressive array of the most
durable, versatile and advanced inflatable water and snow recreational
products. By adding the SEA-DOO(a) and SKI-DOO(b) trusted brand
presence, we are creating a product line with a remarkable consumer
appeal in the ever-evolving water and snow recreational sports
category,” said Mojde Esfandiari, president and CEO of WHAM-O, Inc.
“This acquisition gives WHAM-O a perfect platform for growth, and
provides us with numerous synergistic opportunities, as we now have
the most complete product offering of water and snow recreational
products in the marketplace, at every price point,” adds Ms.
Esfandiari.

“With the addition of these leading brands, we extend the appeal
of our recreational products to every consumer in search of the
perfect water or snow recreational product for use on the mountain, in
the lake, river or ocean,” said Steve Felsen, senior marketing
director for WHAM-O's recreational water, surf and snow division.
