Wenger announced three new additions and two internal promotions within the company’s sales and marketing departments.

The company has made the following new hires: Mike Gugliociello has been named as business development manager; Michael Schwetz as regional sales manager for NY, NJ & CT; and Jonathan Germain as internet marketing manager. In addition, Teresa Maciag has been promoted to graphics manager and Danielle Siracusa has been promoted to marketing services manager.

Michael Gugliociello has been named as business development manager, a position designed to both support existing Wenger key accounts, while at the same time, helping the company expand into new markets and accounts with primary focus on Wenger Swiss Army Knife sales.  Gugliociello brings an extensive knowledge of both the Wenger brand and its products, having served as an account supervisor with SK Communications, the company’s external public relations firm.

Michael Schwetz has been named as regional sales manager, with existing and new account responsibilities for the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut markets.  Before joining Wenger, Schwetz served as territory sales manager for Festina Watch Co., where he increased sales more than 300% in his first year, followed by consistent growth during the next two years.  Before Festina, Schwetz was a sales representative with E & J Gallo Winery.

Jonathan Germain has been named as Wenger’s new internet marketing manager. In this newly created position, Jonathan will manage the brand’s global internet presence, as well as oversee all internet marketing activities.  Jonathan will also help the brand connect with consumers, retailers and the media through the company’s website, social media, email marketing, blog development and loyalty marketing programs.  Previously Germain was Interactive marketing coordinator for Six Flags Theme Parks Inc., where he developed promotions for the company’s corporate website as well as web content for its 20 domestic parks.  Earlier, Germain also managed extranet activities for BMW/Mini North America.

In addition to Wenger’s new hires, the company has announced two internal promotions. Teresa Maciag has been promoted to the position of graphics manager for Wenger globally, from her previous role as marketing manager (North America), while Danielle Siracusa has been named as marketing services manager. Previously, Danielle served as marketing coordinator within the company’s marketing department.
