Washington University in St. Louis, a private university in St. Louis, MO, announced an extension of its athletics outfitter partnership with Nike through BSN Sports. The deal, which has been extended for five years, makes BSN Sports the exclusive provider of Nike uniforms, apparel, footwear, accessories, and equipment for WashU Athletics.
“We are both excited and proud to be associated with BSN Sports and Nike, as we continue our department mission to Build Community, Develop Scholar-Champions and Impact Lives,” stated Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Director of Athletics Anthony J. Azama.
In June 2020, it was announced that WashU Athletics was entering into a multi-year partnership with Nike through BSN Sports for the first time. Through the deal extension, Nike will serve as the exclusive outfitter for all 19 varsity teams while also providing incentives for program achievements.
“We’re excited to continue to build on what has already been a successful first five years with WashU,” said Todd Northrop, SVP of BSN Sports Collegiate Select Division. “Our goal is to continue to deliver and even find new ways for the student-athletes, coaches, fans, and supporters of the Bears to perform with confidence and show up with pride.”
