Walther Arms, Inc. announced the promotion of Rob McCanna to president and CEO. McCanna’s appointment to CEO is part of a long-term strategic transition for former Walther CEO Adam Blalock, who will now serve as Chairman of the Board for Walther Arms.

In addition to his duty as Chairman of Walther Arms, Inc., Blalock will continue to serve as president and CEO of Walther Manufacturing, Inc and Chairman of the Board for Umarex USA, Inc. All three privately-owned U.S. corporations share a campus located in Fort Smith, AK.

“Rob is perfectly suited for this transition to CEO of Walther Arms. He has the aptitude and experience combined with a demonstrated performance in his current role. I look forward to seeing Walther thrive under Rob’s leadership,” said Blalock.

Rob McCanna brings 35 years of experience in the firearms industry to Walther Arms. He has spent the last 12 years in various senior leadership roles focusing on sales, marketing, channel management, as well as customer and consumer services for domestic and international markets including both law enforcement and military segments.
