Volt Athletics, a Seattle-based sports technology company, partnered with the Seattle Seahawks to donate strength and conditioning programs to three Washington State high school football programs. The three schools, chosen in collaboration with the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA), are Renton, John F. Kennedy and Sumner High Schools.

The donation reflects the shared values of both organizations and their commitment to athlete health and safety. Football players at the three high schools will be able to access safe and effective workout plans through Volt’s intelligent training app, which will help them build strength and reduce the risk of injury.

“The health and safety of young athletes is one of our top priorities,” said Seahawks VP Community Outreach Mike Flood. “Our partnership with Volt will provide additional resources for coaches and athletes to learn how to train more effectively.”

Volt’s training is also utilized by USA Football and the U.S. National Team programs.

“We’re excited to be selected by the Seahawks to train on Volt,” said Coach Tim Tramp, head football coach at Renton High School. “As a coach, you always want what is best for your athletes, and with this donation, we’re confident our players are training the right way for football to avoid injury and develop properly.”

The comprehensive program is designed to develop strength, muscle mass and explosiveness, promoting safety on the field.

“The Seahawks are taking a proactive approach with the aim of strengthening youth and high school football programs throughout the state, and we’re proud to play a role,” said Dan Giuliani, co-founder and CEO of Volt Athletics. “Working together, we are able to leverage new technology to make elite-level training available and accessible to these local teams.”
