VJ Shoes, the Finnish-based maker of trail running, orienteering and obstacle course racing shoes, has closed its U.S. operations.
The brand’s North American website, vjshoesusa.com, states, “VJ Shoes USA Has Permanently Closed….We want to sincerely thank you for your support over the years. We are incredibly grateful for the community, athletes, and customers who supported the brand.”
VJ Shoes, founded in Finland in 1981, began selling in the U.S. in January 2019 through an exclusive distribution partnership with Six Corners Marketing, based in Sherwood, Oregon, and founded by Matt Gorski. Known for its aggressive grip, VJ Shoes are primarily sold in Finland and across Europe.
